Lauren is excited to teach kids about the magic of the outdoors, help them learn about themselves, overcome obstacles and build their confidence and self-esteem through The Courage Project.

Kat is currently training in pro-wrestling and stunt work and enjoys getting outdoors as much as possible.  Through The Courage Project she hopes to work with children to encourage them to find a place in the outdoors that inspires them to fulfill their passions.

Lily Schulenberg

Brie Nesmith
Courage Coach

Lily is a kickboxing Instructor who has a deep passion for the outdoors. She has also worked for the city of Reno and has found a passion in helping children! Being born and raised in Reno, Lily was always just minutes away from the mountains. Lily’s passion for the outdoors has been fueled since a young age, going for her first hike at 4! Having such a passion for the outdoors has lead Lily to start an outdoor clothing brand centered on what the outdoors can do for you mentally and physically. Through The Courage Project Lily hopes to further this mission.

Brie is a Nevada native. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2015. Since graduation she has found passion in exploring new places, cultures and experiences. While home, regardless of sun or snow, she enjoys Lake Tahoe. By engaging in her favorite outdoor activities, snowboarding and paddleboarding, she is grateful to understand the courage, patience, and growth that come with learning new sports.  Through The Courage Project, Brie hopes to be able to help instill confidence in young lives while enjoying what nature has to offer.

Trevor Galvin
Courage Coach

Trevor is a high school math teacher with a love for the outdoors. He was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe and grew up snowboarding, hiking and enjoying Lake Tahoe. This lifestyle taught him to appreciate the outdoors and all of the gifts it can provide.  Trevor has also acquired a love for sharing the outdoors with others. He has participated in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada and took his little on as many outdoor adventures as possible. At his high school, Trevor has created a snowboarding club that has been going strong for the past 3 years. He is currently co-founding a hiking club as well. Being outdoors and a teacher has strengthened his patience, kindness, and love for fun. Through the Courage Project he plans to inspire, mentor, and create new memories.

Kenzie Ingraham

Kenzie was born and raised in Reno and grew up in a family passionate about getting out and trying new things. She started skiing at the age of 4 and by her teen years was snowboarding our local mountains.  In the summer, Kenzie enjoys hiking, wakeboarding and taking in all the beauty Lake Tahoe has to offer.  Kenzie is a natural coach and enjoys teaching kids to love swimming.  She is passionate about working with children and guiding them to success. Thought the Courage Project, Kenzie hopes to share both her openness to new experience and her passion for adventure with others.
